Elastomeric & Polymeric Seals Division
A new Division, established during 2007, focussed on moulded and machined polymeric seals, including elastomers and engineering plastics.
Initial objectives are to provide guidance to the users, regarding the selection, storage, handling, installation and use of the materials. To this end, the Division is developing a document, with grateful thanks to our colleagues in the VDMA (who have provided assistance with some information and graphics. The document will be entitled:

- how to prevent seal failure through appropriate material selection and design
