AESSEAL commenced operation in 1981 with 5 employees and now employs 1062 people worldwide operating from 52 sites in 27 countries.  With Sales to 83 countries world-wide AESSEAL are currently Number 2 in the UK, Number 4 in the USA, Europe and the world, in mechanical seals. 

The product range includes API seals, metal bellows, split, reactor, cartridge and component seals.  Our test equipment supports shaft speeds to 45,000 rpm, pressures to 300 bar (4,500 psi) and extreme temperature conditions.  We also manufacture mechanical seal systems, bearing protection products and packing.

We are accredited to ISO 9001:2000 since 1986 (Quality); ISO 14001 since 2003 (Environmental) and OHSAS 18001 since 2004 (Health & Safety).  We have also been Investors in People since 1994.

AESSEAL have won 6 Queen’s Awards, and were voted by our Peers as The Best Company in a UK area with 6 million people as part of a Government sponsored benchmarking initiative.
