As a member of the Rockwool International Group, Lapinus Fibres BV is the world’s preferred supplier of engineered mineral fibres for use in composites such as gasket-, friction, thermal isolation and plastic materials. More recently, Lapinus Fibres are also successful as a coating additive to improve crack and impact resistance.
"Engineered fibres" means that the mineral fibres are purified and surface treated with coupling agents. The quality of the fibres is consistent in terms of chemical composition, purification, length and diameter.
Lapinus Fibres BV is a company of approx. 25 people comprising of a specialised sales staff, product development department and customer service. Our products are world wide available and we can deliver from stock from several continents.
For more than 20 years Lapinus has served the gasket market. Under the brand name "Rockseal" we offer specialised products for the compressed sheet and beater-ad market. These fibres products are all bio soluble. (Non-Carcinogenic according to EU-directive 97/69/EC).
