All of the ESA Divisions have been working hard on producing [Training Courses](https://www.esaknowledgebase.com/esa-new-courses/) on all aspects of Sealing Technology, and these are available for use free of charge to everyone via the ESA website. The courses take the form of video lessons, which the student can follow at their own pace.

The working language for the ESA, reflected in these courses, is English, but we are very conscious that users in other parts of Europe, or indeed the rest of the world, may not be comfortable in this language and would prefer to be presented with the material in their native tongue.

It is for this reason that we have been investigating the use of AI-driven software to provide immediate translation of the course voiceover narrative into other languages. Two options are under consideration, the first being subtitles underneath the video content and the second a voiceover using the original presenter’s voice cloned and translated.

Both methods present a number of challenges, not least that translation of technical terms and industry jargon is often not very accurate. To overcome this, each translation is being vetted and corrected by members of the ESA whose native language is being produced. A lot of progress has been made on this project, and we are confident that translated course content will start to become available in the very near future.
