Over the past two months, ESA’s digital channels continued to support communication with members and the wider industry. Below is a brief overview of newsletter, website and LinkedIn performance during May and June 2026.
Our May newsletter was sent out on May 22, 2026, to 500 recipients. By July 8th, 2026, 202 recipients (40.4%) opened it, and 74 recipients (14.8%) clicked on at least one of the articles. The click-through rate was 36.63%. Overall, these figures suggest solid engagement, with a meaningful share of recipients not only opening the newsletter but also clicking through to read further.

During May and June, the website recorded 3,684 sessions. The average session duration was 103 seconds, while the bounce rate stood at 68.73%. Traffic increased compared with the previous period, and visitor behaviour also improved, with more pages viewed per session (2.1) and a lower bounce rate (6%).
Direct traffic and organic search remained the main sources of visits, while email marketing brought the strongest engagement, with the lowest bounce rate, the longest average session length, and the highest number of pages viewed per session. Referrals also performed well, while social traffic was lighter and less engaged overall.
ESA’s LinkedIn page remained active throughout May and June, with 11,661 impressions, 256 reactions, 2 comments and 5 reposts across the period. We have 3,661 followers so far, the majority is from Germany, followed by Italy and Türkiye.
The average engagement rate of the posts was 6.2% (previous period: 11.8%). The most engaging post during the period was ESA’s update from the 5th Symposium on Materials and Products in Contact with Drinking Water in Brussels. It recorded 439 impressions and 51 engagements, with an engagement rate of 11.6%.
