Following on from the 2023 AGM in Munich, we have been researching hotels in Central Europe that are capable of holding our 3-day conference in 2024, have the right green credentials and general facilities. We are pleased to confirm that we will be holding the next ESA AGM at the Hilton Old Town Hotel in Prague on April 22, 23 and 24, 2024.

Like most large organisations, and hotel chains in particular, they consume resources that leave a carbon footprint. The Hilton chain has a comprehensive carbon offset programme, which we are comfortable with. More details can be found here.
In addition, the ESA Executive Team has created a guide to help you reduce your carbon footprint when you attend one of our meetings. We would like you to think about each stage of your journey and implement some of the ideas. If you have new or interesting ideas on this subject, please send them to Mark Neal.

The cost per night is 5500 CZK per night + 50 CZK city tax plus 10% VAT. That amounts to about 230 EUR per night and includes breakfast.
