The Packings and Flange Gaskets Divisions have had training courses published in the ESA Knowledge Base in the past to educate end users about their products. Last year saw the addition of two new training modules. The Packings Division finished a troubleshooting training for packing problems. The Flange Gaskets Division added an introduction training for gaskets. This year, a further module about gasket type and materials will be worked on.
Also, the other ESA Divisions are working on an introduction to their sealing products. The Expansion Joints Division has created a storybook and is working on the details. The Mechanical Seals Division is in an advanced stage of their introduction to mechanical seals course. A first draft of a training programme for the Elastomeric & Polymeric Division has been created and has to be further developed.
The plan is to have an introduction training for all the Divisions finalised and uploaded in the Knowledge Base until the end of this year.
