Discussions and specific projects about hydrogen are still ongoing in the different ESA divisions. The Packings Division is continuing the research work with DHBW Mannheim University in Germany to do comparison emission tests with helium and hydrogen on a packing test stand. The Elastomeric & Polymeric Seals Division is planning a round-robin test project to do this also for elastomeric seals.

There was no meeting of the Hydrogen Working Group after the General Meeting in May due to the work in the divisions. A new Teams meeting is planned for November 7, 2023, at 15.00 h (CET), and the invitations will be sent shortly to all members. During this meeting, we will take the opportunity to discuss existing and planned standards for hydrogen applications. Also, emission testing at low temperatures with hydrogen is still a topic of interest.
