The 2018 ESA AGM will be held at Villa Franceschi at Mira in Italy. This will be the third time we have used this hotel, as it never fails to deliver the perfect venue. As always, we will be using three other hotels nearby, but all the meetings willbe held at the Villa Franceschi, starting on 15th May through to the 17th May 2018.

Hotel booking
Please visit Members area (General Support folder) to download booking forms for the hotels. Our exclusivity period has ended, and all three hotels are fully booked but Villa Franceschi will help you locate an alternative nearby and take care of the any transfer requirements. There is one cancellation in Villa Franceschi. If you wish to relocate there or reserve this room, please contact either Mark Neal or the Villa directly.
Taxis
Please note that we have negotiated a special rate for transfers to and from the hotel/airport. If you supply your flight details on the hotel booking form, they will arrange to collect and take you back to either airport at a discounted rate. The normal taxi fare from the airport is €90 upwards and there are no taxis available after 11 in the evening so please discuss with the hotel if you need special arrangements.
These are the rates:
Venice Airport
– 1 car with 1 passenger: € 75/guest;
– 1 car with 2 passengers: € 40/guest;
– 1 van with 3-4 passengers: € 25/guest;
– 1 van with 5-6 passengers: € 20/guest;
– 1 van with 7-8 passengers: € 15/guest.
Treviso Airport
– 1 car with 1 passenger: € 95/guest;
– 1 car with 2 passengers: € 50/guest;
– 1 van with 3-4 passengers: € 35/guest;
– 1 van with 5-6 passengers: € 25/guest;
– 1 van with 7-8 passengers: € 20/guest.
All the rates include 10% VAT. For transfers with a departure between 10.00pm and 6.00am there is an extra charge of 10%. Individual payments for those sharing paying by cash or card is possible together with individual receipts. The transfer company will arrange the sharing arrangements, you need to supply only your flight details to the hotel when booking the room.
There is also a complementary taxi service between the hotels being used for those not staying in Villa Franceschi.
