Latest ESA’s digital channels insights


The ESA’s newsletter, website and LinkedIn channels help keep members and the wider industry informed about the association’s work and activities. Below is an overview of their performance during July and August 2026.

Newsletter statistics

Our July newsletter was sent out on July 30, 2026, to 488 recipients. By September 17th, 2026, 181 recipients (37.09%) opened it, and 72 recipients (14.75%) clicked on at least one of the articles. The click-through rate was 39.78%. That indicates solid engagement among readers who opened the newsletter, with almost four in ten going on to click through to an article.

Website statistics

During July and August, the website recorded 2,586 sessions. The average session duration was 69 seconds, while the bounce rate stood at 71.93%. Compared with the previous period, traffic fell by around 30%, while average session duration shortened (-32%) and the bounce rate increased slightly (+2.92%).

Direct traffic and organic search accounted for most visits, with organic search showing stronger engagement at 2.08 pages per session and a 64.7% bounce rate. Email marketing again delivered the strongest engagement overall, with the lowest bounce rate (59.78%), the highest number of pages viewed per session (2.43) and an average session length of 100 seconds.

LinkedIn statistics

ESA’s LinkedIn page remained active throughout July and August, with 8,457 impressions, 198 reactions, 1 comment and 4 reposts across the period. We have 3,732 followers so far, the majority is from Germany, followed by Italy and India.

The average engagement rate of the posts was 3.9% (previous period: 6.2%). The most engaging post during the period was Message from the ESA Chair: From product performance to product intelligence. It recorded 763 impressions and 54 engagements, with an engagement rate of 7.1%.
